Emergencies

During surgery hours, ring the Receptionist on 01322 224550, and make it clear that your need is urgent. The Receptionist will be able to make you an appointment at short notice or put you through to speak to the Doctor. He or she will assess the situation and arrange the appropriate treatment.

When the surgery is closed you may still ring 01322 224550 at any time day or night and listen to the recorded message for further instructions.

If the emergency is serious. Dial 999 for an ambulance.

If you need to see a GP urgently, tell your practice and they will do their best to fit you in.

Need urgent medical care when your practice is closed?

Minor injury that may need cleaning stitching or dressing?

Your GP practice may have a practice nurse who can clean and dress wounds. Alternatively, a minor injuries unit is open 9am – 9pm, 7 days a week at Gravesham Community Hospital, DA11 0DG. Tel: 01474 360500

Serious or life threatening illness or injury

Phone 999 or go to the emergency department at Darent Valley Hospital DA2 8DA
