Due to the growing needs of our population, the shortages of GPs nationally, complaints about long waiting times and difficulty in getting appointments, we the Drs at Lowfield Medical Centre have taken an initiative to integrate other qualified health care professions into our team to address few of these issues.
Over the coming months and years, your physical, mental and social health care needs will be met by a wide range of professionals eg, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, advance nurse practitioners, paramedics, physician associates, social prescribers etc. They will be based here at the surgery and fully supported by the doctors.
To help our reception team to signpost you to the most appropriate member of staff, the Drs have instructed them to ask you for a brief description of the nature of your problem. This will help them in directing you to the right professionals.
